Sonetto (十四行诗) is a Mineral Arcanist in Reverse: 1999.
The chief assistant of the Timekeeper, and an outstanding graduate of the School of Primary Defense of Mankind, lauded for her outstanding performance.
Sonetto grew up within the St. Pavlov Foundation, with the education and training she has received being of top class. Since she rarely ventures out into the outside world, Sonetto uses her poems to depict the world as colorful and ideal, eager to learn everything it has to offer.

| After recruiting children and training them, St. Pavlov Foundation will select the most outstanding ones of the year and bestow medals upon them. She has carefully pinned these medals from the Foundation to her cape, where they remain as shiny as they have been from the beginning. | It was enclosed in a letter of gratitude to the Foundation. Like millions of others, the letter was not postmarked or signed. Sonetto took the letter and has been keeping it carefully since then. | A glass pen that can visualize the imagery in poems as it is, it can do nothing about non-poetic content. | A uniform hat custom made for the parade by SPDM using the basic design of beret. The copper pipe has recorded a paean on tradition, glory, rationality, and responsibility. The considerate arcane skill it carries can also work as a prompter, though the interviewee doesn't need it at all. |

Even the slightest wrinkle has been ironed by Sonetto herself - a price she must pay for a perfect ceremony. | A stick for the parade. | The St. Pavlov Foundation is currently the largest public and official organization which houses arcanists. The foundation has invested a great deal of effort in the protection and supervision of unique children. They are constantly sending manpower all over the world to seek out children with a talent for arcanum. It does not matter where the children are or whether they wish to come along. The children who have been taken in will develop their abilities through rigorous training and eventually take over this seemingly endless mission for the peace of mankind. | ||

| On February 14 at the Rio de Janeiro Carnival, a float, on which a wealthy businessman had spent an excessive amount of money, suddenly rose into the air and broke up when the passengers left on a break. The police found no signs of tampering. Was this the work of arcanists? Rio de Janeiro... had a lot of beaches? What was going on at the carnival... On July 8, the first trackless underwater train started operation. The first stop was Hawaii and it would end services at San Juan, Puerto Rico. Is an underwater train better than an SF Airship? Will I see sea creatures from inside? Will the committee be interested in introducing one? On November 27, an Aerocar racing athlete drove a custom car in Utah and broke the world record with a speed of 577 miles per hour. !!! It shouldn't take much time to get from the Foundation headquarters to Venice at that speed, right?! | ||

You mean... they do not look the same as the outside world...? Pandora Wilson: The same? Why would you want it to be the same? They are your creation, and no one can copy your style. Birthday Letter[]
1: Today is the day that Sonetto was adopted by the Foundation. Since her real birthday remains unknown, she adopted this day as her own.
2: In the middle of the pile of ribbon gift boxes, Sonetto's eyes rest on the small, unassuming book - a collection of poems that she still treasures, despite receiving a similar one from the Timekeeper every year.
3: Over the past year, Sonetto has folded every interesting newspaper that she has found and added it to this collection. Looking at that bulging collection, she looks forward to a great night.

- Sonetto still speaks some fluent English in some of her Japanese voice lines.
- She also speaks fluent Italian in some of her voice lines.
- In her first Cast Arcane Skill I, Sonetto says: Sempre caro mi fu quest'ermo colle. This is a reference to the first line of the poem L'Infinito by Giacomo Leopardi.
- In her second Cast Arcane Skill I, Sonetto says: Regna sereno intenso ed infinito. This is a reference to the third line of the poem Mezzogiorno Alpino by Giosuè Carducci.
- Sonetto is an Italian word that literally means "little song". It's the word that sonnet, a type of poem, is derived from.
