An arcanist's work. Exhibited in the 1960s for 17 years. Completed in Spring, on April 14. Exhibited in Wuppertal, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany, and later throughout Europe.
Balloon Party (气球派对) is a Mineral Arcanist in Reverse: 1999.
An eccentric doctor with bones balloons. She never misses any party, just as she never forgets to bring the balloons along with her.

| There was a white house in the city made of white stones. Everyone knew that it was Dr. Nicholas's house. The high wall divided Germany into two halves. They lost each other, yet exchanged gazes unceasingly. For the world, it was an earthshaking reformation. For the poor who were just born or ill in bed, however, it meant there weren't even pills to treat them. That was when Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas appeared. The two of them were great doctors but terrible parents. When they returned from work in the neighboring city, they found their 7-year-old daughter had a persistent high fever from a serious infection. However, she was a miraculously fortunate child. When her breathing stopped, her mother noticed that her chest was abnormally swollen. Together, the two of them lifted the body of their daughter, which was still warm. They slapped her in the back hard and, soon enough, she coughed out a balloon. Then came the second, the third ... the room was filled with balloons of varying styles and patterns. After this bizarre vomiting, she recovered completely. The white stone house was re-decorated, like a party that was never held. | ||

| A strange woman had come to the town. She was wearing a strange costume and talking about strange things, but all the children had gathered by her side. Something must be wrong. Trivia[]
- She is partly inspired by Gerhard Domagk's only daughter, Hildegard, who contracted streptococcal infection at 7 years old and was cured by the antibiotic Domagk was developing. Streptococcus haemolyticus, the bacteria that caused the infection, is characterized by spherical or oval shapes in chain, which resembles a chain of balloons. It is also spread through respiratory droplets, such as from coughing.
